Indonesia’s National Salt Industry Center in Rote (NTT) is over 90% complete and targeting a June 2026 opening. The project is a key step in improving domestic supply security and reducing reliance on imports, particularly for high-grade industrial salt.
The hub is expected to strengthen standardization, storage, and logistics for Indonesian salt producers. Its success will be judged by its ability to deliver consistent quality and reliable distribution to domestic industries starting in the second half of 2026.
