With only 500 tons of raw material left\u2014enough for a single day of production\u2014officials warn that operations may halt without urgent supply.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"ember76\">Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Minerals, Kheri Mahimbali, emphasized the urgency during a joint site visit with the Ministry of Industry and Trade. \u201cWe are calling on anyone with salt to bring it here,\u201d Mahimbali said, underlining the factory\u2019s critical need for raw input to maintain output.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"ember77\">The factory, which employs over 500 workers and processes 600 tons of salt daily, plays a vital role in the local economy. Dr. Hashil Abdallah, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, stressed that uninterrupted production is crucial for safeguarding jobs and ensuring continued government tax revenue.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"ember78\">A one-month window has been granted for factory management and producers to negotiate supply terms.
