This bold move is part of a long-term vision to scale production from the Ada Songor salt field to 5 million tonnes annually, while adding significant value before export.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"ember79\">Beyond refining salt, McDan\u2019s ambition is to transition into the chemical production space, with plans to establish a caustic soda plant and other industrial facilities. The estimated investment for the full infrastructure buildout stands at $85 million.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"ember80\">Electrochem is currently working toward an output of 1.2 million metric tons by 2026, with a target of 2 million metric tons supported by an upcoming IPO on the Ghana Stock Exchange aimed at raising $30 million in equity.
