SALT PROCESSING EQUIPMENT
Salt Conveyor Belt
Transfers salt from the silos to packaging.
Discuss this equipment
PROSALT · Sieving, Storage & Packaging
How it works
Transfers salt from the silos to packaging. Modular lengths, inclinations and belt options connect different levels while limiting sticking, spills and product loss.
Its place in the process
Belt conveyors move salt between sizing, storage and packaging positions. Transfer points, belt loading and the working environment determine the arrangement, with spillage control and cleaning access considered along the route.

Equipment questions
How does a conveyor belt differ from the sorting belt?
The main duty here is transfer between process stages. A sorting belt additionally provides the arrangement needed to inspect raw salt and remove foreign material before washing.
Can this equipment be integrated into an existing salt plant?
A retrofit is assessed from the existing process flow, material analysis, available dimensions and utility connections. The upstream and downstream equipment must be reviewed together before the scope is agreed.
