Salt Packaging Machine
Automatically fills processed, sized salt into the required package type.
Discuss this equipment
PROSALT · Sieving, Storage & Packaging
How it works
Automatically fills processed, sized salt into the required package type. Accurate weighing supports consistent package weights; the equipment can be configured for bags, boxes and other agreed formats.
Its place in the process
Packaging receives finished salt from storage and prepares measured quantities for distribution. The machine and its feed interface are selected around the bag format, weight range and required production schedule.

Specify the right configuration
Equipment selection starts with your material, the required product and the available site conditions. Share the operating range and layout with PROSALT so the interfaces, dimensions and final specification can be defined for your project.
Package type, target weight and required output
Grain size, flowability and product temperature
Weighing, closing and downstream handling interfaces
Final materials, dimensions, drive power and operating targets are defined in the project specification. Product images illustrate the equipment family.
Technical reference
Equipment for a 50 t/h plant
These dimensions and specifications refer to equipment used in a 50 t/h plant. Every PROSALT plant is custom engineered; dimensions, materials, motor power and quantities may vary with the project. Request the current catalogue for up-to-date technical specifications.
| Parameter | Reference specification |
|---|---|
| Reference plant capacity | 50 t/h |
| Bagging rate | 18 bags/min |
| Big bag filling rate | 20 big bags/h |
| Control system | PLC |
Dimensions are determined for each project. Contact PROSALT for the current layout and equipment drawings.
Request the current catalogueEquipment questions
Can the same packing setup handle every bag size?
The supported weight and format range must be agreed for the selected equipment. Bag material, dosing method and changeover requirements should be reviewed before specifying the line.
Can this equipment be integrated into an existing salt plant?
A retrofit is assessed from the existing process flow, material analysis, available dimensions and utility connections. The upstream and downstream equipment must be reviewed together before the scope is agreed.
