SALT PROCESSING EQUIPMENT
Salt Storage Silos
Stainless steel bodies provide hygienic storage and protect processed salt from external contaminants and moisture.
Discuss this equipment
PROSALT · Sieving, Storage & Packaging
How it works
Stainless steel bodies provide hygienic storage and protect processed salt from external contaminants and moisture. The design supports durable handling and preservation of product quality.
Its place in the process
Storage silos buffer sized salt between continuous processing and packaging demand. Product segregation, discharge flow and access for cleaning should be coordinated with the chosen grain fractions and packing schedule.

Specify the right configuration
Equipment selection starts with your material, the required product and the available site conditions. Share the operating range and layout with PROSALT so the interfaces, dimensions and final specification can be defined for your project.
Bulk density, storage duration and required buffer volume
Number of product grades and flow behaviour
Filling routes, discharge aids and structural loads
Final materials, dimensions, drive power and operating targets are defined in the project specification. Product images illustrate the equipment family.
Technical reference
Equipment for a 50 t/h plant
These dimensions and specifications refer to equipment used in a 50 t/h plant. Every PROSALT plant is custom engineered; dimensions, materials, motor power and quantities may vary with the project. Request the current catalogue for up-to-date technical specifications.

Equipment questions
How is the required silo volume calculated?
It depends on the buffer time between production and packaging, the bulk density and the usable storage volume. Product segregation and operational reserves also affect the number of silos.
Can this equipment be integrated into an existing salt plant?
A retrofit is assessed from the existing process flow, material analysis, available dimensions and utility connections. The upstream and downstream equipment must be reviewed together before the scope is agreed.
