Discuss this equipment
PROSALT · Salt Washing Plant
How it works
A stainless steel vertical conveyor with a specially developed bearing arrangement. It supports reliable flow, durable operation and practical maintenance while reducing the risk of sticking.
Its place in the process
The elevator raises salt between equipment installed at different levels. Its inlet, discharge chute and supporting structure must align with the adjoining conveyors, while leaving access to the drive and inspection points.

Specify the right configuration
Equipment selection starts with your material, the required product and the available site conditions. Share the operating range and layout with PROSALT so the interfaces, dimensions and final specification can be defined for your project.
Lifting height and available footprint
Grain size, moisture and required flow
Discharge orientation, support loads and maintenance access
Final materials, dimensions, drive power and operating targets are defined in the project specification. Product images illustrate the equipment family.

Equipment questions
When is a bucket elevator preferable to an inclined conveyor?
A vertical arrangement can help when floor space is limited. The choice still depends on lift height, material behaviour, transfer rate and the building layout.
Can this equipment be integrated into an existing salt plant?
A retrofit is assessed from the existing process flow, material analysis, available dimensions and utility connections. The upstream and downstream equipment must be reviewed together before the scope is agreed.
