Exhaust & Chimney Ducts

PROSALT · Salt Drying Plant

How it works

Stainless steel ducts guide and discharge process exhaust. Their durable construction supports efficient airflow and a controlled discharge path.

Its place in the process

Process ducts connect the dryer, particle recovery equipment and exhaust fan to a controlled discharge route. Duct geometry is included in fan sizing, while supports, expansion and cleaning access are coordinated with the plant structure.

Engineering inputs

Specify the right configuration

Equipment selection starts with your material, the required product and the available site conditions. Share the operating range and layout with PROSALT so the interfaces, dimensions and final specification can be defined for your project.

  • Exhaust flow, temperature and moisture

  • Duct routing, pressure loss and discharge elevation

  • Corrosion exposure, supports and cleaning access

Final materials, dimensions, drive power and operating targets are defined in the project specification. Product images illustrate the equipment family.

Equipment questions

Why assess ducts together with the exhaust fan?

Bends, lengths, transitions and connected equipment add resistance to the airflow. The fan operating point therefore depends on the installed duct system, not only the nominal air volume.

Can this equipment be integrated into an existing salt plant?

A retrofit is assessed from the existing process flow, material analysis, available dimensions and utility connections. The upstream and downstream equipment must be reviewed together before the scope is agreed.
