SALT PROCESSING EQUIPMENT

Pressure Fan

Specially designed fan blades circulate heated air throughout the dryer.

Pressure Fan

PROSALT · Salt Drying Plant

How it works

Specially designed fan blades circulate heated air throughout the dryer. The airflow supports even drying and efficient use of energy.

Its place in the process

The pressure fan delivers the airflow needed by the fluid bed system. It is selected against the resistance of the complete air path, including distribution surfaces and ducts, and coordinated with heating and exhaust control.

Engineering inputs

Specify the right configuration

Equipment selection starts with your material, the required product and the available site conditions. Share the operating range and layout with PROSALT so the interfaces, dimensions and final specification can be defined for your project.

  • Required airflow and system pressure loss

  • Process air temperature and density

  • Control range, duct connections and motor duty

Final materials, dimensions, drive power and operating targets are defined in the project specification. Product images illustrate the equipment family.

Equipment questions

Why must the pressure fan match the fluid bed?

Fluidization depends on the interaction between airflow and the salt bed. A fan chosen without the bed resistance and operating range may not deliver the required process conditions.

Can this equipment be integrated into an existing salt plant?

A retrofit is assessed from the existing process flow, material analysis, available dimensions and utility connections. The upstream and downstream equipment must be reviewed together before the scope is agreed.
