SALT PROCESSING EQUIPMENT

Exhaust Fan

Removes moisture-laden air generated during drying.

Discuss this equipment
Exhaust Fan

PROSALT · Salt Drying Plant

How it works

Removes moisture-laden air generated during drying. Consistent extraction supports process airflow and helps control dust and moisture in the working environment.

Its place in the process

The exhaust fan draws process air through the drying and particle recovery circuit. Its operating point is coordinated with the pressure fan and cyclone so the system maintains the intended air balance across changing loads.

Engineering inputs

Specify the right configuration

Equipment selection starts with your material, the required product and the available site conditions. Share the operating range and layout with PROSALT so the interfaces, dimensions and final specification can be defined for your project.

  • Exhaust flow, temperature and dust loading

  • Cyclone, filter and duct pressure losses

  • Air balance, control method and discharge location

Final materials, dimensions, drive power and operating targets are defined in the project specification. Product images illustrate the equipment family.

Equipment questions

Can the exhaust fan be sized independently?

It should be selected from the resistance and airflow requirements of the connected circuit. Changes to filters, cyclones or ducts can change the fan duty.

Can this equipment be integrated into an existing salt plant?

A retrofit is assessed from the existing process flow, material analysis, available dimensions and utility connections. The upstream and downstream equipment must be reviewed together before the scope is agreed.
