Thermoblock Air Heater

PROSALT · Salt Drying Plant

How it works

Controlled heating and directional plates distribute heat through the drying system, limiting temperature variations and supporting uniform processing conditions.

Its place in the process

The thermoblock supplies heated process air to the drying system. Its thermal duty is established from the salt moisture load and airflow, with fuel availability and plant controls considered in the overall heat balance.

Engineering inputs

Specify the right configuration

Equipment selection starts with your material, the required product and the available site conditions. Share the operating range and layout with PROSALT so the interfaces, dimensions and final specification can be defined for your project.

  • Required drying air temperature and flow

  • Moisture removal duty and available energy source

  • Temperature control, ductwork and service access

Final materials, dimensions, drive power and operating targets are defined in the project specification. Product images illustrate the equipment family.

Equipment questions

How is the heater capacity selected?

It follows the process heat balance rather than salt throughput alone. Feed moisture, target moisture, air conditions and operating hours are needed to establish the duty.

Can this equipment be integrated into an existing salt plant?

A retrofit is assessed from the existing process flow, material analysis, available dimensions and utility connections. The upstream and downstream equipment must be reviewed together before the scope is agreed.
